Is it safe to use Seventh Generation natural dish soap to wash my dog?

I’m out of dog shampoo. The bottle says “non-toxic, biodegradable, hypoallergenic” and the ingredients say “a unique combination of naturally derived cleaning agents (coconut-based surfectants), whole and natural plant essences (a blend of lavender, ylang ylang, lime, spearmint and peppermint essential oils), preservative (less than 0.05%), water.”

I figure that if they use Dawn to wash ducks, then this should be fine, right? Is there anything in the ingredients that would be bad for my dog’s skin?

I would go ahead and use it. I do not use dog shampoo at all, I use what I have.

Although it can give them dandruff (human shampoo) but yours is NATURAL shampoo, you are fine.

Oh, they use Dawn to wash ducks when they have OIL on them.
